I want to start focusing on sharing some of the projects that I work on. Event Boutique & Co. plans a number of corporate events but I also plan the fundraising events for Big Brothers, Big Sisters St. Catharines – Thorold & District and I absolutely love the variety these fundraisers offer.
The sold out event is ladies only, who gather together to support and fundraise for Big Brothers, Big Sisters St. Catharines – Thorold & District.
As guests enter the beautiful historic building, the ladies are greeted with sparkling wine as they proceed to spend an hour shopping, until they drop! Over $10,000 was raised this year, in just one hour.
This event raised a record total of almost $60,000 this year for Big Brothers, Big Sisters St. Catherines – Thorold & District program, Go Girls! which is a group mentoring program for girls that focuses on physical activity, balanced eating and self-esteem.
It’s always a pleasure planning this annual event, plus it gives me all the warm & fuzzies. A win-win!
